Here are the first official photos of the urban SUV 2019 Volvo XC40. This rival of the Audi Q3, BMW x 1 and Mercedes GLA was originally to be announced only on September 21. But the schedule provided by the brand was jostled by a leak on the Web.
In a perfectly controlled logic of Russian dolls, Volvo renews from top to bottom its range of SUV’s. First milestone, the Volvo XC90 has remodelled the brand image as early as 2015, the Volvo XC60 confirmed in the fall of 2017, adding dynamism. The XC40ER pushes the current nail 2018 by focusing on personalization.
Unsurprisingly, these first photos testify to an obvious aesthetic kinship between the Volvo XC40 series and the concept car Volvo 40.1 unveiled in May 2016. The model that must arrive in the current concession 2018 differs essentially at the level of the rear windows which end before the amount C on the serial version while they stretched on the concept-car. The door cutout is more vertical on the XC40 to provide better access to the rear seats.
For the remainder, the format of 4.39 m long is preserved just like the two-tone body which distinguishes it from its great brothers Volvo XC60 and Volvo XC90.
The XC40 is the first model of the brand to capitalize on personalization possibilities. Moreover, the cutting of the flag tint is reminiscent of that of Seat Arona, the small urban SUV of the Iberian firm.
Interior With Perfect Ergonomics
The organization of the dashboard around a vertical touch screen is equivalent to that of the Big Brothers XC60 and XC90. Ergonomics is simple and effective, it has proven itself. In addition, development costs are better amortized.
