2019 Seat Ateca Cupra: the compact SUV of 300 HP is almost ready. If it was already known that Seat was preparing a version spiced his recent SUV Ateca, it would seem that it is now almost ready to take the path of concessions.
Recently, the Seat has Ateca, like many of its competitors, a finish sporting named Leon FR, thanks to which it can display a rather suggestive style. Nevertheless, the available engines 2.0 TSI and TDI 190 HP, while relatively powerful and successful, are not sufficient to make a truly sporting model.
Except that Seat will not stop in so good way and is currently preparing a Leon Cupra variant, which might well sow trouble in the category. It seems in fact that the model is almost ready, since it was seen by some colleagues turning on the Nürburgring, without any camouflage.
A competitor for the Audi RS Q3
This however isn’t aesthetically this 2019 Seat Ateca Cupra should be the most spectacular, as he wears a bodykit barely more muscular than the en version It should nevertheless be identifiable by its two double tailpipes and its specific wheels.
The most interesting is of course under the hood, with a 2.0 TFSI block near one that team the compact Leon Cupra. The Ateca Cupra should therefore have about 300 HP, distributed on all four wheels. As on the Leon, the customer should have the choice between a manual transmission or dual clutch.
With a 0 to 100 km/h which could fall under the 6s, 2019 Seat Ateca Cupra will not truly be competition among rivals General. He could even tackle his cousin Audi RS Q3 which, despite its superior power (340 ch), could mark the not in terms of rigor and agility.
“The Ateca Cupra will not truly be competition among rivals General”
The Ateca Cupra will be presented next year, probably at the show of Geneva 2018.
