As always happens in Ferrari, the new model exceeds the previous: 2018 Ferrari 812 Superfast is the “most powerful Ferrari road and performance of history”. 6.5 litre V12 engine delivers 800 HP at 8500 rpm and guarantees a specific power of 123 HP per liter of displacement, “never values obtained in the past from front Motors on production cars,” says Ferrari in the official note.

The 80% of the maximum torque of 718 Nm (7000 RPM) is already available at 3500 RPM. For the first time, Ferrari has adopted a system of direct injection to 350 bar, “along with the variable intake ducts derivatives as F1 engines sucked up concept”. Benefits are therefore: maximum speed over 340 km/h, acceleration 0-100 “in 2.9 seconds.
Another preview of New Ferrari 812 Superfast is the electric power steering EPS, Electric power steering, combined with the latest version of the patented lateral sliding control (Side slip control, SSC) and the “Virtual Swb 2.0” (PCV) launched for the first time on F12tdf and here further evolved. The weights are distributed to 53% 47% front axle and on the rear traction.
Compared to 152, 2018 Ferrari 812 Superfast is slightly longer (4.66 meters instead of 4.62) but the dry weight is still the same – 1,525 kilograms.
