Five finishing levels are offered (non-special series “The first”). “Chic” represents the basic level from which two variations are available. The first is classic (“So Chic” and “Grand Chic”), the second is more dynamic (“Performance line” and “Performance Line +”).
“In addition to the different finishing levels, the DS 7 Crossback offers several interior ambiances”
So Chic and Performance line levels represent the core of the range. The equipment is complete with bizone air conditioning, GPS, 18-or 19-inch rims or the pilot-operated suspension system with predictive camera. A technology similar to what Mercedes offers on its S-class, and unreleased in the category.
To access the premium universe, you have to choose the Grand Chic or Performance Line + finishes. The upholstery and the dashboard are then covered with leather or Alcantara and the equipment (B.R. M Watch, electric tailgate, directional projectors, electrically reclining rear seat back) are most refined. In return, the prices are higher, starting from 40 100 € for the Performance Line + and 46 300 € for the Grand Chic.
However, some equipments are optional as the night vision charged 1 250 € or 1 640 € depending on the finish.
In addition to the different levels of finishes, DS offers several interior atmospheres (upholstery, Dashboard cladding …): Bastille, Performance Line, Rivoli, Opéra and Faubourg.
In the Motorization chapter, the Frenchman aims high in petrol with two PureTech of 180 and 225 hp. On the other hand, the diesel offer is wiser: BlueHDi 130 and 180 hp. A declination of 150 hp is not in the program. In contrast, a rechargeable hybrid version will be launched in spring 2019.
